چکیده

Alternating current electroluminescence (ACEL) shows great potential in lighting, display and intelligent skin. Herein, the ACEL properties of Pr3+-doped Ba0·85Ca0·15Ti0·90Zr0·10O3 ceramic its PDMS-based composite have been investigated. Intense red EL emission was obtained sample whereas blue Pr3+ observed for first time counterpart. The should be attributed to impact hot electrons driven by large piezoelectric electric field. Owing cross-relaxations through 4f5d levels Pr-to-metal charge transfer state, 3PJ emissions were completely quenched, thus leading an enhancement emission. However, external E field induced a local deformation particles embedded PDMS matrix, which turn caused bending CB then downwards shift from CB. Hence hindered, composites. results would attract attention functional materials studies expand our understanding such facile structure oxide devices facilitate their use integral part flexible device systems.

Piezoelectric and electrostrictive strain behavior of Ce-doped BaTiO3 ceramics

The ferroelectric and strain behavior of the Ba(Ti12yCey)O3 solid solutions was studied. Three phase transition temperatures were shifted with increasing Ce concentration, and pinched at y 50.06. The samples could be structurally indexed by x-ray diffraction in a tetragonal symmetry at y<0.06; and in a pseudo-cubic symmetry at y.0.06. The strain levels in the range of 0.15–0.19% at ;60 kV/cm wi...

Low-temperature sintering of MnO2-doped PZT–PZN Piezoelectric ceramics

The effect of MnO2 addition on the microstructural evolution and piezoelectric properties of low temperature sinterable PZT–PZN ceramics was investigated. When a small amount of MnO2 (≤0.5 wt% ) was added, the Mn ions were homogeneously dissolved in the PZT– PZN ceramics, leading to full densification at a temperature as low as 930 °C. However, the further addition of MnO2 hindered the densific...

Ceramics, composites and intergrowths

The first two articles in this section focus on ferroelectrics. Hoffman and Kungl address connections between composition, processing, microstructure and large strain behavior of lead-based ferroelectrics. Special emphasis is directed towards the effects of additives in PZT ceramics on defect structure and microstructural development. Recent work and future prospects on high temperature ferroel...

Piezoelectric Ceramics Characterization

This review explores piezoelectric ceramics analysis and characterization. The focus is on polycrystalline ceramics; therefore, single crystals, polymeric materials and organic/inorganic composites are outside the scope of this review. To thoroughly grasp the behavior of a piezoelectric polycrystalline ceramic, a basic understanding of the ceramic itself should not be overlooked. To this end, w...

Characterisation of Piezoelectric Ceramics

The IEEE standard on piezoelectricity recommends methods to determine the coefficients of piezoelectric ceramics and the sizes of the samples to be used. A method to determine the difference between the actual coefficients and the coefficients determined using the IEEE standard is presented. The difference or error for samples of various shapes and sizes is presented. These errors and manufactu...
